Das Trio um Florian Weiss (tb), Philipp Hillebrand (cl) und Clemens Kuratle (dr), münzt die fragile Besetzung ohne Bass- und Harmonieinstrument in eine Stärke um und serviert seine Musik in gewählt platzierten Farbtupfern, die mit Hilfe der Imagination und dem richtigen Blickwinkel des Publikums als vollendetes Gemälde erscheinen. Auf ihrem ersten Album, gewidmet der Grande Dame de la Chanson Edith Piaf, diente dem Trio die unverkennbare Ästhetik des Chanson als Anker, um ihre verschachtelten Kompositionen und Improvisationen zu entfalten.
